Who qualifies for support from Another Day?

Indivduals who are self-directing and / or their families/guardians who qualify for one of the following HCBS Waiver:

  • Developmentally Disability (MR/DD)
  • Frail/Elderly (FE)
  • Technology Assistance (TA)

What can Another Day Inc. do for you?

Another Day, Inc. works with consumers and their families to:

  • assist with completion of the billing process
  • find and network with competent care providers when needed
  • serve as a liaison between consumers, families, care providers and the Community Developmental Disabilities Organizations (CDDO) for the State of Kansas and the Regional Centers for the State of Missouri
  • provide State required training for care providers and families

How can a Consumer get started?

How can a Consumer get started in the billing process:

  • must meet Medicaid eligibility requirements
  • must have a selected/assigned case manager

  • select Another Day, Inc. as the fiscal/billing/Financial Management Services (FMS) agent

How can I become a Care Provider / Direct Support Worker (DSW)?

Providing care to others is a noble and important profession. To become a Care Provider / Direct Support Worker (DSW) for Another Day, Inc. applicants must:

  • complete the on line care provider information sheet
  • be contacted by Another Day Inc.
  • must pass backgrounds 
  • be qualified, and trained

How can I make sure there are no services interruptions when Kansas changes to the Agency With Choice (AWC) system?

To ensure a smooth transition when Kansas switches to the Agency With Choice (AWC) system:

  • Make sure each self-directing individual and / or their case manager has identified Another Day, Inc. as the Financial Management Service (FMS) provider.

How can Another Day, Inc. continue to remain a billing/fiscal agent when other companies are discontinuing their service?

Another Day, Inc. has been gearing up for this change by: 

  • investing significant resources to prepare for the transition to the Agency With Choice (AWC) system to operate as a Financial Management Services (FMS) provider once Kansas makes the change on September 1, 2011.
  • getting prepared and ready to implement the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system when Kansas makes the required change.
